A new headquarters in Copenhagen for QuNorth

QuNorth has moved into a new headquarters in Copenhagen’s innovation district, creating a purpose-built home for its growing team and for Magne, one of the world’s most powerful quantum computers.
In June, QuNorth opened its new headquarters at Rønnegade 6 in Copenhagen, placing the company at the centre of the city’s innovation district. The new location will serve as the base for QuNorth’s expanding team and as the home of Magne, one of the world’s most powerful quantum computers.
The headquarters has been designed specifically around the requirements of Magne. From low-vibration infrastructure and precise temperature control to reduced magnetic field activity, the building creates the specialised environment needed to support advanced quantum technology.
Once operational, Magne will provide Nordic researchers, companies and public institutions with access to a powerful new quantum computing capability. The system is expected to become operational in early 2027.
QuNorth’s new headquarters will also bring the company’s team together under one roof. Eight employees are already based at the site, with the team expected to grow to 14 people over time.
The new office is also located adjacent to Atom Computing’s European headquarters. Atom Computing is QuNorth’s technology partner in building Magne, and the proximity between the two teams will support close collaboration as the system moves from construction toward operation.
Our new headquarters gives us the right environment to build and operate Magne, while bringing our team and partners closer together. It is a major step toward making advanced quantum computing accessible from the Nordics.
QuNorth is working to make advanced quantum computing accessible from the Nordics. With Magne, the company aims to support the development of new research, industrial applications and skills across the region, helping strengthen the Nordic position in the global quantum landscape.
