QuNorth and Microsoft announce online skilling course for Nordic users at Discover MAGNE
At today’s Discover MAGNE event in Copenhagen, QuNorth is delighted to announce the launch of a new online skilling course for Nordic users, developed in partnership with Microsoft and qBraid. This initiative is designed to empower researchers, developers, and companies across the region to unlock the full potential of Magne, the world’s most powerful level 2 quantum computer, soon to be operated by QuNorth.
Register below to be amongst the first users invited on to the new platform once it officially launches in summer 2026.
The course will introduce participants to Microsoft’s Quantum Development Kit (QDK), an open-source toolkit that streamlines quantum application development. With integrated support for VS Code, GitHub Copilot, and leading quantum programming languages, the QDK offers a modern, accessible environment for building and testing quantum code, including advanced chemistry and error correction workflows.
Training materials are tailored for both application engineers and error correction researchers, ensuring that Nordic users are well equipped to tackle complex scientific and industrial challenges. By combining hands-on learning with the latest tools and best practices, the course aims to grow regional expertise in reliable quantum computing, and foster collaboration across the Nordic quantum ecosystem.
We invite all interested parties to join this exciting journey and help shape the future of quantum technology in the Nordics. For more information on Microsoft’s Quantum Developer Kit, read also the blogpost “Powerful new developer tools increase the versatility of the Microsoft Quantum platform”.
