QuNorth is a Nordic hub for quantum exploration, providing the region’s researchers and enterprises with the capability to test, learn, and build on world-leading Level 2 technology.
QuNorth was established as a €80M joint venture between EIFO and the Novo Nordisk Foundation to turn a systemic gap into a competitive advantage for our region. Our acquisition and operation of Magne—one of the world’s most powerful commercial quantum computer to date—enables Nordic enterprises and researchers to take a leading role in the global quantum race.
While our headquarters is located in Innovation District Copenhagen, QuNorth is a resource to the entire Nordic region. We provide a dedicated environment for a growing ecosystem of quantum explorers, ensuring the transition from theory to real-world application becomes a shared success. This infrastructure solidifies our regional position as a flourishing European hub for quantum-related activities.
Magne is expected to be fully operational in early 2027.
