QuNorth expands team behind Magne

QuNorth has hired three new employees as the company builds the team behind Magne, the Level 2 quantum computer it will operate as a shared platform for Nordic research and industry.

Lea Härtel,
Operations Manager

Lea Härtel joins QuNorth as Operations Manager. She will work on strengthening the operational backbone of QuNorth within finance, compliance, procurement, vendor onboarding and day-to-day operations.

She will also set up internal processes, controls and ways of working across the Operations, Technical and Product teams.

Lea brings experience in financial planning, governance, operational execution and structured problem-solving.

Stephanie Bergeron Kinch,
Communications
& Marketing Manager

Stephanie Bergeron Kinch joins QuNorth as Communications and Marketing Manager. She will lead communications and marketing, build QuNorth’s brand and help explain Magne and QuNorth’s work to users, partners and external audiences.

Stephanie has 15 years of experience communicating complex technology to specialist and non-specialist audiences. Her background includes biotech, climate tech, medtech, IoT, SaaS, academia, EU policy and advanced manufacturing.

At QuNorth, she will develop messaging, digital and print materials, public relations, events and campaigns.

Mads Friis Frand-Madsen,
Quantum Use-Case
& Business Developer

Mads Friis Frand-Madsen joins QuNorth as Quantum Use-Case and Business Developer. He will work with companies to identify where quantum computing can address their business and technical challenges.

Mads holds a Ph.D in quantum information theory from the University of Copenhagen and has since worked at the intersection of quantum research and commercial deployment, most recently driving the commercialisation of quantum technologies in critical infrastructure.

At QuNorth, he will help companies assess potential quantum use cases, estimate their value, and coordinate collaboration with algorithm providers, university researchers, and QuNorth's technical team.

QuNorth will operate Magne as a shared platform for Nordic research and industry. The new hires add operational, communications and business development capacity as the company prepares to support researchers, startups and enterprises working with quantum computing.
